Flax is fully equiped for both racing and cruising.
Underwater hull is fairly nice. Anti fouling is VC17. There is nothing wrong with the boat speed as we sailed as fast as the winners and were in the lead of the Færder race 2010 for the first 9 hours in changing conditions.
All alowed modifications are done: reinforcement of bottom and improvement of foil profiles.
The dekk layout is identical with North Sails recommended deck layout.
The mast and standing rigg was checked with With Marine in 2010. Forestay changed in 2010. Shrouds replaced by With Marine 2011.

Racing Sails: Main, Genoa and spinnakker from North Sails 2008. (Only Dacron in upwind sails allowed according to class rules)
Security: All equipment according to Færder Race rules. Additions: Jackstays, drogues. I also use a SPOT personal satelite security system.
Full set of modified North Sails racing sails. Main with gliders and reef. Proper reefing system. Hard Weather Jib with reef. Spin. Sail covers for both main and genua so that both sails can stay mounted during cruising season.
